  • In 2023 (July),  The New Mexico Governor’s Commission on Disability Awarded TACIL an award of  to provide opportunities for mentoring, social integration, public access, and home habitability services to persons with disabilities in the NM Southwest.
  • In 2022 (February), the United Way of Southwest New Mexico awarded TAC a technology fund award to modernize and improve our Mobile Office capabilities to provide Outreach and Services.
  • In 2020 (July), the New Mexico Governor’s Commission on Disability awarded TAC an award to provide technology literacy training for COVID support to persons with disabilities in the NM Southwest.
  • In 2020 (July), The Carl C. Anderson, Sr. and Marie Jo Anderson Charitable Foundation provided TAC an award to provide COVID-response food to persons with disabilities in the NM Southwest.
  • In 2018 (July),  The New Mexico Governor’s Commission on Disability Awarded TACIL an award of $10,450 to provide opportunities for mentoring, social integration, public access, and transportation to individuals with disabilities in Southwestern New Mexico.
  • In 2015 (July), The New Mexico Governor’s Commission on Disability Awarded TACIL an award of $16,000 to conduct rural Outreach, provide transportation and community integration opportunities to people with disabilities coupled with community education in southwestern New Mexico.
  • In 2013 (August), The New Mexico Governor’s Commission on Disability Awarded TACIL an award of $7,965 to conduct rural Outreach in its catchment area, youth transition services, and data collection activities in the unserved Counties of Catron and Hidalgo, New Mexico.
  • In 2011 (August), The New Mexico Governor’s Commission on Disability Awarded TACIL an award of $3,996 to conduct rural Outreach and provide Independent Living services in the unserved Counties of Catron and Hidalgo, New Mexico.
  • In 2011 (July), the New Mexico Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons (NMDHH) awarded TACIL an award for $10,000 to provide 1) free American Sign Language Classes to the general public in Las Cruces, New Mexico and surrounding areas 2) content literacy to Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students pursuing higher learning, and 3) conduct Outreach promoting NMCDHH services.
  • In 2010 (December), TACIL was awarded a grant of $12,000.00 by the Carl C. Anderson, Sr. and Marie Jo Anderson Charitable Foundation to provide monthly supplementary food rations to 40 low-income elderly persons with disabilities for 11 months.
  • In 2010 (July), the New Mexico Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons (NMDHH) awarded TACIL an award for $5,000 to provide free American Sign Language Classes to the general public in Las Cruces, New Mexico and Farmington, New Mexico.
  • In 2010 (January), TACIL received a $1,500 award from the The McCune Charitable Foundation to provide Consumers with business computer training to increase their employability.
  • In 2009, TACIL signed a contract with Amerigroup to offer transition services from nursing homes to community-based services to persons with disabilities.
  • In 2009, TACIL was awarded a grant of $10,000.00 by the Carl C. Anderson, Sr. and Marie Jo Anderson Charitable Foundation to provide monthly supplementary food rations to 24 low-income elderly persons with disabilities for 11 months.
  • In 2009 (September), the New Mexico Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (NMDHH) awarded TACIL an award for $14,524 for a community education project that provides education and training on Deaf and Hard of Hearing culture to the Community to improve inclusion and reduce prejudice for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities in Southwestern New Mexico.
  • In 2009, TACIL was awarded 250 safety helmets by the Brain Injury Association of New Mexico to distribute to children in Catron County and the City of Las Cruces to promote Injury Prevention and Helmet Safety.
  • In 2009, TACIL received a $7,500.00 award from the New Mexico Governor’s Commission on Disability to collaborate with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, The New Mexico Commission for the Blind, and Area Schools to conduct Outreach and increase disability awareness and disability education in Southwestern New Mexico.
  • In 2008, TACIL received a renewal award for its Traumatic Brain Injury Program.
  • In 2007, TACIL received a $21,000.00 award from the New Mexico Governor’s Commission on Disability to conduct extensive Outreach into Rural Southwestern New Mexico.
